Ntandazo Mndayi is famous for playing the onscreen role of Stompie on Gomora. On the Mzansi Magic telenovela, the Stompie character hopes from gang to gang, a mastermind, and right handyman in-car high jacking business. He worked for Don Buthelezi – the role played by Israel Matseke Zulu before he sold his boss out to MaSonto syndicate led by Thathi. Stompie’s contact number is on speed dial for doggy businesses, and he gets things done. Currently involved in a relationship with Don’s daughter Sibongile – the role played by Nandipha Khubone, Stompie helped her girlfriend sneakily bury her father.
Having shown flames by his High school-going girlfriend, stature and lean body, questions have been raised about Stompie’s age. Despite visibly looking young and associating himself with the younger generation on screen, Stompie is way older than Gomora fans think in real life.

Ntandazo Mndayi exceeded his expectations.
Being on television was his dream, and roles and capacities didn’t matter back then; Stompie revealed that all that mattered to him was the feeling of being on television.
“I was so determined that one day I will be on television, and my family and friends will gather to cheer for me. I am grateful for the show producers who trusted and believed in my craft to allow me to act along and learn from the best. It’s not easy sharing scenes with legendary actors and actresses like Katlego Danke, Zolisa Xaluva, Connie Chiume, whom we envied, but now we are tapping into their skills and experience.”
Will Stompie take over Don’s business?
Don’s death raises concern about who will take over and lead the visibly dismantling crew of Stompie, Sdumo and Brains. With Ntokozo out of the picture and seemingly done with crime life, and Stompie keeping Don’s family closer, he remains the top candidate to replace gang leader.
