Bohlokwa Mpiti got most of his fame after landing the role of Zak in Rhythm City. His role was that of a boy who was given up at birth by his mother. After finding out who his mother is, he goes to the city to meet her and try to find his father as well. It turns out that Ziyanda, his mother, is hesitant to tell him who his father is at first.
However, Ziyanda’s secret comes out when Zak falls in love with his half-sister. After that, Ziyanda has no choice but to tell them they can not be intimate because they are related. With this, the secret that Ziyanda had a child with her brother-in-law comes to light. Zak, who was a 20year old young man is younger than the actor who plays the character.
Bohlokwa is a rising actor in the entertainment industry, born on 29 April 1996. This makes the actor 26 years old, having celebrated his birthday last month. He made it look like he was younger in his role because of his young-looking face. Many of his fans are shocked by his age as they believe that he is the 20year old he portrayed. Mpiti might have played a teenager and gotten away with it if he wanted.

After Rhythm City was cancelled, the actor at first was out of work like the rest of the cast. However, doors opened for him, and he got his first lead role in a Showmax movie. He played Zanemvula Meyiwa in Umnisamvula, a blind boy his dad rejected because of his blindness. He worked with famous talents like Siyabonga Shibe and Baby Cele.
Before he was in Rhythm City, he had a minor role in Bone of my Bones, playing the role of Clevy. He is also into theatre acting and had a role in Bomb productions’ Umsolwa, a 2017 play.
