He is a genius: The Queen actor Hector ‘Rapulana Seiphemo’s academic qualifications stuns Mzansi.
Rapulana Seiphemo has been stealing the show The Queen with his charming way of keeping fans glued to their screens. He portrays the role of a wealthy, highly educated figure in society hence leaving fans curious about his personal life.
Besides being a great actor who has several awards to show for it, Rapulana has made strides in the education department as a lecturer. He is jake of all trades and has doubled as a lecturer and actor. Following his newly found fame as an actor, Rapulana ditched his career as a lecturer. It was becoming a nightmare for him to be a lecturer due to his fame. He would struggle to make his students understand that he was different from his onset villain characters.
Rapulana Seiphemo’s academic qualifications stun Mzansi
The actor we all love to hate did his matric at Anchor Comprehensive High School in Soweto. After graduating from his matric with flying colours, he won a scholarship to study abroad. He then moved to the United States for his degree in Arts. Rapulana holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Arts.
Following his graduation in 1995, The Queen actor moved back to South Africa and worked as a tutor at Fuba Academy. He worked there for several years before working at the Wits Univesity as a lecturer.
A career in the entertainment industry
Rapulana later tried his luck in portraying acting roles, which was the beginning of his career. He made his first acting gig when he played the role of Godlieb Mofokeng on Isidingo in 1999. He nailed his role as the villain to perfection resulting in him winning an award for being the best supporting actor that year.
Ever since his role on Isidingo, Rapulana has been winning big in his acting career and has featured in several international films.
