“He has to raise his hand to speak,” Watch Dineo Ranaka bullying Sol Phenduka on the radio
Mzansi was thrilled when Kaya 959 FM revealed that it would introduce the bubbly duo of Sol Phenduka and Dineo Ranaka on its Breakfast Show. However, in the mix of things, it seems as if the hype of the breakfast show is now losing its touch.
Fans are already calling out the producers for even thinking this duo would work because it simply isn’t. In the mix of things, The Breakfast show listeners have slammed Dineo Ranaka for trying to dim Sol’s light in the wake of his newfound fame on radio.
Dineo Ranaka is topping the trends for the wrong reasons after a viral video of the Kaya 959 FM breakfast show flooded social media. In the recent show, Sol was seen raising a hand so that Dineo could give him a chance to talk. Despite humbling himself by raising his hands to beg for a chance to talk, Dineo is seen cutting him off before he even finishes speaking.
The alleged bullying tendency was first spotted they hosted Somizi. In an interview with Somizi Mhlongo, Dineo seemed to ignore Sol and would cut him short before he could finish off his sentence. Many have pointed out how Dineo Ranaka talks above Sol in an attempt to overshadow him and dim his light.

Sol is best known for his unmatched flair on Podcast and Chill with MacG. Their podcasting show is Africa’s most followed podcast and reportedly the second most followed worldwide. At some point, unconfirmed reports, they were hyped by Joe Budden, who said Black boys with numbers in relation to their YouTube colossal following.
With an illustrious career spanning years, Sol has fast become one of the finest on-air hosts. A few years ago, Sol revealed that he wouldn’t be returning on the radio, but it seems as if the Kaya FM gig was too good to resist. However, in the mix of things, Mzansi is more than confused that Dineo is clipping Sol’s wings to avoid him outshining her.
Given a better understanding of Sol’s presenting and hosting skills, Mzansi has since weighed into the matter with its two cents. He has recently been booked across the globe; he was in London, where he had several slated podcast gigs. Back home with MacG, they have seen themselves hosting big names in the land, like EFF President Julius Malema and Robert Marawa. We can all agree that the sky is the limit, and there is no sight of an end to Sol’s booming career.
