“He has made R70 Million from SETE,” K.O. opens up on earnings from the smash hit SETE. Well, SETE has been making all the trends, from topping the musical charts to the ownership wrangle of the song. As if that’s not enough, K.O. has been making all sorts of headlines after a Twitter thread revealing the alleged amount K.O. made the track got leaked.
No doubt the song made massive waves online. Of interest, the song was even implicated in the equation of Song Of The Year for 2022! But how much has the rapper made from it so far? R70 Million? However, a random tweet that suggested he made R70 million from it caught the rapper’s attention.

The Twitter user has it that he made this chunk of money from booking sand radio airplay it has received and streams and views.
“K.O. made R70 Million with SETE so far including airplay, bookings, streams, and views. He was the most booked artist last with over 990+ shows excluding international bookings,” the tweep said.
In the mix of things, the bubbly rapper was more than puzzled with claims. To clear the air, he responded with a cryptic tweet that said otherwise. K.O. responded to this and used the slang for lies, a cap emoji.
“This Mitchell & Ness (cap),” he reacted.

We can all agree that SETE reached a success nobody saw coming. The rapper’s hit song features Blxckie and Young Stunna, spent 12 weeks on the SA music charts.
“It is a phenomenal achievement and for the industry as well. We are very proud of him as RISA and SA Charts. We are here to mark this moment and celebrate with him. We are delighted that he could join us and receive his flowers.” said RISA spokesperson Lesley Mofokeng.
In the wake of his big win, they gifted him with a plaque to mark his achievement. K.O. reacted to this by saying.
“Yezuur, thank you so much to the Sony Team and my team. Thank you to Stunna, Blxckie, and all the contributors; today is a monumental day, and receiving a plaque for 10 million streams was something I didn’t forsee coming. I also want to share an encouraging message to the upcoming artist out there, don’t ever give up on yourself, keep doing what you love, and put God first. Bless!”
