Harvest House is owned by MDC-T claim: MDC-T Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora has claimed the Harvest House also known as Morgan Richard Tsvangirai (MRT) House is owned by the MDC-T political party. The shock claim was made as the MDC-T was addressing the media after a standing committee meeting at MRT House.
Mwonzora was asked on the legality of their occupation of Harvest House, he respond, “Harvest House is owned by the MDC party and we will prove that before the courts.”
The statement by Mwonzora is in sharp contrast with the letters wrote by Harvest House trustees who wrote letters informing the High Court that they had been appointed as trustees to manage the property on behalf of the owner.
The trustees said the property is leased to MDC Alliance party for the next twenty years.
