Gqom artists fumes after a famous pastor call their music ‘Satanic’
The music industry is filled with drama and thrills. Making the headlines is prominent pastor Sengezo Fulani who accused the Gqom musicians of producing satanic music. Taking to his Facebook post pastor, Sengezo slammed trolled Gqom musicians for making demonic music and initiating people to satanism.
He wrote:
These so-called gospel songs with the backup of Gqom beats are just nonsense that will lead people to hell.
Keyboard players should stop playing Gqom music in churches because it’s Satanic.
Speaking to news reporters, pastor Sengezo Fulani also said hip hop and amapiano music are also from the deals. He reveals that the devil now uses music to win souls in his demonic world.
He said:
The devil used to be a great singer in heaven, He sang better than any other angel in heaven but he sinned. He developed pride and God sent him back to earth. Satan misled people and caused them to use their talents to worship him. This is why today, we have ungodly music genres; there are there to mislead the youth. These types of music are not from heaven but from hell. Anyone who produces this music is not going to heaven but to hell unless they repent.
Pastor Sengezo said that Gqom artists should repeat, or else they will not see heaven. His revelations about Gqom artist and their music got Mzansi talking, and other pastors came on the post to comment. A prominent bishop Vusi Dube, slammed Sengezo for preaching the wrong word and giving musicians names. He said:
There is no right or wrong way of worshipping God because the bible is not specific about this
Other artists also replied to pastor Sengezo’s word about Gqom music. DJ Cndo shared that Sengezo was being judgemental of artists and misleading people not to listen to good music.
