Glow up, Muvhango actresses Vho-Mukondeleli and Susan’s ‘Then vs Now’ pictures impress Mzansi.
Muvhango has been celebrating 25years of Television in production and on Television. The official Instagram page of the SABC 2 drama series has been posting throwback videos and pictures. Their followers have enjoyed seeing some of their favourite scenes from long back.
Today the production team have shared pictures of two of their actresses who have been with them for years. Murabeli Rasalanavho and Maumela Maumela found themselves on the page with How it started vs How it’s going pictures. The throwback pictures were of them when they first joined the telenovela in the first season. The current images show a glow-up that has impressed many of their fans.
Maumela Mahuwa’s character as Susan has been going through a lot in Thathe. Her son and husband started fighting over a woman whom they both dated. She only got to know at the reception of her anniversary party, and the party got cancelled. What follows after is a series of misfortunes for a woman trying to save her marriage. However, she has finally thrown in the towel and relocated, but her son lands in jail because of a lie.
Vho-Mukondeleli and Susan Throwback pictures stun Mzansi
Vho-Mukondeleli is the noisy grand aunt to Mulalo, who can not seem to mind her business. Even though her heart is always in the right place, her gossiping constantly gets her in trouble. Recently she eavesdropped on Rose and Nomasonto and was attacked, resulting in a coma. The whole family is waiting for her to wake up and save Vhutshilo while exposing Nomasonto.
Both of these actresses have been on the show since 1997, when the soapie debuted. Murabeli was a teacher when she first joined Muvhango but later quit her teaching job to pursue acting full-time. Maumela Mahuwa has grown on-screen from being a young woman to the woman she is now. She is a preacher and singer when she is not acting.
