The twins come from Pinetown in Kwazulu Natal. The two are only 24years old despite looking older than they are. Tshidi and Tshidiso are very difficult to tell apart as they are identical twins. They both graduated from the University of Zululand with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Arts. Tshidiso is excited about her sister being the first between them to get a role in acting. She is very supportive of her sister’s career as she waits her turn to debut on-screen.
The pair runs a joint Tik Tok account under the name theMakitletwins, where they post videos of themselves doing skits and sometimes singing.

Tshidi made her acting career debut with her role as Phumeza Sibiya. Phumeza is a busy body nurse at Durban Gen. She is married to Thulani Sibiya, a law-abiding detective. Phumeza has had dark days too. She has a love and hate relationship with her sister, who dumps her children on their grandmother and goes away with the next man interested her. It went to the extent that Phumeza switched her sister’s baby with another couple’s dead baby.
