Generations The Legacy actor Muzi Mathabela has made a name for himself in the industry since breaking through on Isibaya as Duma. He has become a household name in his own right.
The talented actor turned 45 this weekend, and he has nothing but gratitude for everything he has achieved.
Muzi took to his Instagram to let his followers know just how much it means to him to reach this age.
“Happy birthday King. Fast approaching half a century. Not by my power and not by my might. But by Grace and power of the Holy Spirit.” Muzi wrote as he showed love to himself.
Muzi penned down a very emotional message to himself, acknowledging the ups and downs he has gone through. He mentioned how he could have died so many times when he was living the life of the gas and the furious.
Muzi always speaks out about a time when he was out of control because he was abusing alcohol so much. Muzi says that he would usually drink and drive while heavily under the influence.
Muzi thanks Molemo JubJub Maarohanye’s disastrous and fatal accident in 2010, where Maarohanye and his friend took to a residential street and started drag racing. Four schoolchildren passed away, and two were left with brain damage.
Muzi claims that the incident made him do a self-introspection because he says that could quickly have happened to him during his days as a heavy drinker.
The actor left that life and decided to take control since then.
On his Instagram post, he wrote that his life changed when he chose to live as a Christian.
Muzi is one of the most successful actors in the country, and he has shared his talents on Soapies like Imbewu since Isibaya ended.
Muzi is currently playing one of the lead characters on Generations The Legacy. He plays Nkosiyabo Cele.
