From Soweto to Forbes magazine, Lasizwe Dambuza makes the 2022 Forbes 30 under 30 list
Lasizwe Dambuza has made South Africa proud as he was recognized as one of 2022’s Forbes 30 under 30. The list is compiled yearly as the magazine recognizes young entrepreneurs and leaders transforming businesses and society.
Taking to his Instagram, Lasizwe shared a heartfelt message as he shared with his fans that he had made the list. The entertainer spoke about his humble beginnings in Soweto when he shot videos with his phone. Many people watched him grow into a force recognized in society and someone whose influence is now plenty.
Lasizwe also states that he dedicates his award to his parents, who are both late and wish they were alive to see his accomplishments. He also thanked his fans, whom he calls Sweeries, for their constant love and support throughout his career. Lastly, he urges his followers to chase their dreams as the only people stopping them are themselves.

Celebrities like Mohale, Nadia Japhta, Shauwn Mkhize, Tamia Mpisane and many more congratulated him on his milestone. He made the list with other African influencers like Elsa Majimbo, Brett Singh, Fatima Babakura, etc.
Lasizwe is friends with make-up artist Mihlali Ndamase who made the list last year. This year South African Influencer Phupho Gumede also made the list and made it the cover of the digital cover of the magazine.
Lasizwe started making funny videos imitating people of different lifestyles and gained a considerable following. As his following grew, his endorsement deals and the jobs he was hired to host. Recently he made his acting debut on Television, and his future looks bright as an actor and performer as he is a natural talent.
