Sungura Musician and dancer Franco Slomo real name Francis Dhaka has fallen on hard times as his wife Lonah Guvheya has left him with a two year old son. His wife left him because of poverty. She left three weeks ago to live with her sister because things had gone from bad to worse.
“:I don’t understand why she decided to leave. Everyone in the music industry is struggling right now. People are not making money because there are no shows,” Slomo told The Herald.
“My heart bleeds for my son Franco Junior because he wants a mother’s love. He cannot get that love at the moment and everyone in my family is worried about this situation. My mother in Mt Darwin has asked to take the children to her as it is the best thing to do but i cannot move because of the lockdown. My cousin in Bindura has also offered to assist but i do not have bus fare.”‘

The slick dancer left Sungura Musician Alick Macheso and Orchestra Mberikwazvo band to start a new band Extra Kwazvose with chanter Jonasi Kasamba, guitarist Noel Nyazanda and drumist Obert Gomba. The other band members have since deserted him with Kasamba and Nyazanda finding their way back to Ochestra Mberikwazvo.
Franco Slomo is keep on keeping his band and working to succeed as a solo artist. He says he wasn’t earning what was equivalent to his popularity at with Macheso.

Slomo has had issues with his wife before. It is not the first time that Franco Somo’s wife has left him. Lona is a former member of Bev Sibanda’s Sexy Angels dancers. She previously left Slomo to be readmitted into the controversial dance group.
Lona is also reported to be Franco’s forth wife as he has married and lived in with other women before.
