Four men killed in an alleged mob justice incident in Johannesburg this morning
Four men were killed in an alleged mob justice in Zandspruit, Northern Johannesburg. Community members say they are glad these four men are dead because they have been terrorizing the community with crime.
The incident is said to have happened around 5 am in the morning when the community members started assaulting the deceased. The Police also reports that five other people said to be part of the gang are in hospital and in critical condition but they are receiving treatment. One woman from the community also claims that the police are not doing their job and this has seen the community resorting to such behavior.
Crime in South Africa has been rising and members of the public do not feel safe. However, the police do not encourage members of the community to take matters into their own hands because murder is a serious offense.
According to Newzroom Africa, the police are at the scene and those involved in the incident will be charged with murder and attempted murder for those that survived.

Another video of robbers killing a store owner just to steal in the shop is circulating on social media. The three men walk in the shop and search the dead man before stealing some other goods in the shop.
Without any hesitation one of the gang just aims his gun at the man in the shop and shoots him in the head. Members of the public are worried and are also saying the police are not doing enough to reduce such crimes in communities.
People on social media think authorities are doing enough to discourage crime in South Africa. Commenting to the video some are saying things like:
“And in SA they will still have right to bail application. When there’s this kind of evidence tax payer’s money shouldn’t be wasted on long trials. Hope they get harsher sentence”
“Why are they shooting him, law of this country protects criminals”
“It’s sad that authorities do not believe that these incidents are a reality.”
