We know it has been a painfully month-long period since the last v25.11 update which was released on June 27, 2023. This is because the current Chapter 4 Season 3 has been highly criticized by many players for being lackluster and boring, as it did not offer enough fresh content and events.

Although Epic Games has not announced the official release date or patch notes for the Fortnite v25.20 update, which went live on Wednesday, July 26. However, this is not confirmed by Epic Games yet, so there might be some changes in the schedule.
Usually, Epic Games announces the downtime a few hours before the update goes live, and players cannot queue for matches on any platform during this time. The downtime typically lasts for a couple of hours as Epic Games updates and changes the servers for us Fortnite fans to enjoy.
What We Can Expect in the v25.20 Update?
After this update, players will have only a month left before the end of Chapter 4 Season 3, which will lead them into the next season. - In yet another leak by Shiina, there is a chance the Kinetic Boomerang, a weapon that can bounce off walls and enemies and can be controlled by the player, will be un-vaulted. This weapon was recently vaulted due to some glitches.
