Former Big Brother housemates Thato Immaculate and Gash1 confirm they are married

Big Brother season three first Runner up Gash1 left the show booed up and in a relationship with fellow housemate Thato Immaculate. Thato first left the Big Brother house, and Gash1 left at the end because he got the second position. After leaving the show, the two continued dating and made headlines when they introduced each other to their respective families. Gash1 and Thato Immaculate have shared with their fans that they are now married less than a year after dating.

Thato Immaculate and Gash1 confirm that they are married

In an Instagram post, Brandon Mthombeni, popularly known as Dash1, posted a picture of him with Thato. In the caption, he said that Love lives here, then went on to express his thanks and called Thato his wife. This raised eyebrows among fans and had them questioning if the pair tied the knot. It looks like that is the case, as both former housemates have confirmed the news to their fans.

Thato Immaculate then confirmed that the two families had come together and called herself Thato Mthombeni. When asked why she does not take on her husband’s surname on social media, Thato said that being married is a long process. She further states that they have only taken the first step in marriage. Thato will start using Gash1’s name after the procedure is over. The former housemate/dancer says she did not use her surname on social media because she knew that would change when she married.

Social media users and fans have been in their comment section offering their messages of congratulations. Many feel like they have been part of the lovebirds’ journey because they watched them fall in Love on the show. Fans get to watch them start their lives together as man and wife in a short period. Thato and Gash1 are one of two couples who came out of the third season of Big Brother. The other couple are winner Mpho waBadimo and Themba, who has also been very public about their relationship.

Life after leaving Big Brother

After leaving Big Brother, the two started focusing on their respective careers. Gash is an Entrepreneur with a clothing line called Femi and an artist and singer. Thato Immaculate, on the other hand, is a dancer and a model. Recently she even made news after landing a job as a presenter on Home Ground.
