Early life and Career
FLVME resided with his Grandmother from grade two to grade six when returned to Johannesburg. Here he attended his grade seven and High School. At the age of 12, FLVME started recording and he has worked on projects like A-Reece’s “Paradise”, Amanda Blacks album “Amazulu” and Fresh 2 Def Productions latest album “Hall Of Fame 2“. The rapper’s inspiration comes from events that occur in his surroundings and artists like Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Smino just to name a few.
For FLVME to rise to fame, takes a leap of faith and submitted his music to Ambitiouz Entertainment and joined the team in January 2016. He afterwards became part of a musical group known as “The Wrecking Crew” which he eventually left in 2019. As development and evolution happen, so does transformation. FLVME is now an independent artist and he continues to soar. At present he has a new Debut Album out, ‘Candy Man’, which is topping the charts on iTunes.

FLVME is dating the controversial Ashleigh Ogle and the couple appears to be in cahoots with each other during this frenzied lockdown period. Of late the couple is squabbling on social media as Ashleigh calls out her boyfriend FLVME in a string of tweets. At the outset, the rapper tried to retort serenely until he eventually lost his cool. The dilemma is as a result of a girl who made friends with FLVME in a quest to help him in his career.
Ashleigh tweets, “A random girl ‘helping’ your man with his career, buys his shoes and a top for a Nike ‘proposal’ that never happened. Let’s do the maths, ladies. Help me figure this out because I might be over-thinking it.” Following further livid tweets between them, FLVME insists on Ashleigh to act like a grown-up. Ashleigh had this to say, “You wanna talk to me about what grown-ups do? Be very sure, baby.”

Subsequent to FLVME jumping on The Big Hash’s song, “How To Kill A Dead Body,” Ashleigh Ogle has been exposed for allegedly cheating on him. The song according to the grapevine is a diss track directed at rapper J Molley, J’s manager. “So @FlvmeSA got involved cause I told him that his girl is actually OUR girl. Funny Bro I told you imma show you the rest of the videos she sent me in person why’s it weird now ?!” tweeted J Molley’s manager.
FLVME assaults a fan and claims to have been hacked.
When a video of FLVME assaulting a fan during his performance went viral, the rapper shows no remorse. This left his fans in frenzy and the rapper might have lost a handful of supporters. He swears on his Twitter after calling him out on his behaviour. Although some excuse his behaviour many feel he could have handled the circumstances more proficiently.
It is alleged that the man who is slapped, tips alcohol on him during his show leading FLVME to lose his temper. After disenchanted fans called the rapper out, he discourteously pointed out he can do without anyone’s support as he made himself. And just when fans were geared up to annul the rapper, he posted a video claiming that he was hacked…

After a video of the duo engaging in a physical fight, fans are in a frenzy. It seems however that the FLVME and A-Reece beef has been squashed and they continue to make music together.

For a while now we know that things have been wobbly between the two with subconscious punches from either side. It seems however that Emtee and FLVME have made up and decided to lay their differences sideways. Recently Emtee tweets to his fans “Me and Flvme cool now” with an extract response from FLVME that signalled that a new song is in the making.
