Her landlady has it that the businesswoman, who describes herself as a go-getter, moved into her home in February 2020. When she was due to pay her deposit at the time, she allegedly did and would instead bribe Possa-Mogoera and her husband with clothes from her boutique.
Possa-Mogoera told the publication that when they had decided on evicting Rooksy, they could not go through with it because the lockdown laws prevented property owners from evicting tenants.
“We begged her to pay the rent but she wouldn’t. She said the lockdown hurt her business,” Possa-Mogoera said.
Rooksy is said to have enjoyed her state up until the water was disconnected. After that, she allegedly left and they have been looking for her since.
“She ended up moving after the water was disconnected. It was as if she was trying to sabotage me. She owes us R158 000. She only paid rent for the first two months. I now have to pay R2 500 of the water bill every month that she never paid,” the landlady said.
She also claimed that if it wasn’t for RHOCT, she would still be looking for Rooksy, adding that she was shocked when the star claimed to have millions on the show.
