Etv’s Hit Soapie Durban Gen Hits The 2 Million Viewership Mark
Etv’s hit soapie Durban Gen earlier this week became one of the few Mzansi soapies to reach the 2 million viewership mark within a space of two months after its debut.
Durban Gen is a dramedy which premiered in October this year. The show has managed to keep many glued on their screens waiting for the drama to unfold. Durban Gen is a Stained Glass Tv production. The hit soapie reached the two million viewership milestone this week.
The now celebrated soapie opera boasts around with talented celebrated Mzansi actors such as Mxolisi “Zulu Boy” Majozi, Bhekisizwe Mahlawe and Lihle Dhlomo among others.
Durban Gen is set in the heart of Newlands East, where the most prominent and recognizable academic public hospital “Durban General” is found.
The hit soapie has managed to reach such heights because of its interesting storyline.
