DStv Viewers Choice Awards: The Wife cast, Makhadzi and Scorpion Kings headline 2022 nominees
Two years after being put on halt DStv Viewers Choice Awards are back with a bang, and Mzansi is more than impressed with this year’s nomination. The awards are making headlines after they marked their return after being put on halt in 2020.
Mzansi’s favourite, Lawrence Maleka, will host this year’s awards. No doubt he has been winning big of late recently; he also headlined as the host of the just ended Big Brother Mzansi Season 3. However, of interest is the fact that the new Showmax drama series The Wife has managed to be nominated in three categories. Its lead cast has been nominated in three categories: the rising star, best actress, and actor categories.
Makhadzi has also seen herself receiving more nominations in the mix of things. The much-awaited-awards are slated for the Sun Arena in Pretoria. These awards will honour the cream de la cream of Mzansi’s showbiz in the past two years. Voting has been open, and fans are allowed to vote for their favourites via the My DSTV app and the Mzansi Magic websites. Voting lines will shut down on June the 11th 2022.
