Drama as unapologetic Ace Magashule takes ANC head-on
Well from playing chase to boxing now it seems as if Ace Magashule has taken ANC head-on after dragging the ruling party to court. We can all agree ANC has been trending after its functional wars spilt to the public. It seems as if Mzansi now need a reality show from the party.
A few hours after being served some suspension letters Ace Magashule suspended party president Ramaphosa. We all thought the drama was behind us but guess we were all wrong.
Suspended ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule has gone to the South Gauteng High Court to challenge his suspension and order from the African National Congress national executive committee (NEC) to apologise to the party for an unwarranted suspension letter against President Cyril Ramaphosa.

However, Ramaphosa announced the NEC decision ordering Magashule to apologise to the ANC, failing which he could face disciplinary action.
“The ANC step aside rule 25.70 of the ANC constitution to be unlawful, unconstitutional, invalid and null. The suspension letter issued by ANC Deputy Secretary-General Jessie Duarte suspending him to be null/void, the suspension by Magashule to be valid and effective until lawfully nullified and the instruction announced by Ramaphosa and the ANC for Magashule to apologize for issuing the suspension letter to Ramaphosa to be unlawful.,” stated the court papers.
“Setting aside or up-lifting the suspension of Magashule from his position as ANC secretary-general and any other position he held. Ordering any respondent who opposes this application to pay costs,” said the papers.

Ace Magashule has been left with no option but to tag along with the party’s mandate. No doubt Mzansi awaits his suspension. The latter has made all sorts of headlines but it seems as if his political career needs one hail of a miracle as ANC distances itself from Magushule.
His fall from grace has made him unpopular. Well, we have seen this before countless times. Is this one of ANC magic tricks to get rid of Cyril Ramaphosa? We can all relate to Mbeki expulsion and that one of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
