Drama as Andile Mpisane forces Sithelo Shozi to prove she is the biological mother of their daughters. A lot has been happening between Sithelo Shozi and her ex-husband Andile Mpisane. A few months ago, the two made all sorts of headlines when they levelled abuse allegations against each other. However, in the mix of things, Sithelo has yet again opened up on how she was abused and forced to partake in DNA tests. The issue of DNA came barely after their fallout. Andile Mpisane is said to have questioned if he was indeed the father of their two daughters, Florence and Coco.
Despite being willing to participate in the DNA tests, Sithelo has finally opened up about the abuse she suffered through the process. This comes after she submitted a string of abuse allegations to the Johannesburg High Court last week. Her horrid statements and allegations against Andile, Shauwn Mkhize and Bheki Cele have since been leaked to the public.
To make matters worse, some of the allegations being levelled against Andile and his mother, Shauwn “MaMkhize,” are “unlawfully and unconstitutionally abducting” her daughter Florence. In a leaked 24-page affidavit, Sithelo Shozi made it known that Andile requested DNA tests against her daughters to see if he was the father. According to Sithelo, that was not a problem. In her affidavit, she has it that she was amazed when she was later forced to prove she was the biological mother of Florence and Coco. In one of her statements, she has it that:
“As if that was not enough, I was also summoned to undergo the DNA test. This was done to confirm if I am indeed the biological mother … I obliged”.
Sithelo added that DNA tests were done willingly but under “unlawful” circumstances. She said: “I had no qualms undergoing the DNA test. I was faithful and loyal to [Mpisane] during our relationship.
“What I objected to was the manner in which they approached it — it is unlawful to abduct the child and force us to undergo the DNA tests.”
The two made all sorts of headlines a year ago when they called it quits. Their fallout was dramatic, and it ended up in the courts. The two accused each other of abuse. In the mix of things, Sithelo was granted a protection order against Andile after she leaked chats and pictures to prove her case to the courts. In the mix of things, Andile Mpisane demanded a paternity test to prove Sithelo’s daughters were his. The letter from his attorneys read:
“Our client has recently requested that you both take paternity (DNA) tests in respect of Baby Flo and Baby Coco to lay to rest the old rumours of infidelity on your part during the time when the kids were conceived. And instead of addressing our client’s genuine request, you opted to divert attention from the real issues at hand by throwing up allegations of abuse against our client.”
