Dr Malinga is set to kick his way to the stage on Makhadzi’s One Woman show, as she pledged to support him. This comes after Dr Malinga’s heartbreaking Podcast and Chill sit down with MacG that went viral recently.
Malinga broke down and told his ordeal to everyone after the news broke that he was in debt and that he was at risk of all of his possessions getting confiscated.
Since then a few celebrities have come forward to offer him support and donations. Amongst these, is EFF leader Julius Malema and Makhadzi.
Makhadzi joined the lineup Friday after posting that she wants to add Malinga to the lineup as a performer on her upcoming One Woman Show set to take place in Limpopo in October.
Makhadzi requested on her timeline that Malinga’s management get InTouch with her for arrangements.
She said she finally got a hold of his management. “I finally got Dr Malinga. I promise not to exploit him but share the little I have with him.”
The show is going to take place at Makhuvha stadium, in Thohoyandou.
The Dancing Queen promises to deliver the show of a lifetime. She says she is humbled to finally take one of her shows to her hometown, she says it’s always been her dream to give the people in Thohoyandou a show to remember.
Makhadzi has just returned from a very successful tour in Canada and the UK where she performed to sold-out crowds.
Dr Malinga took to his timeline to thank everyone who had donated to him and debunked rumours that he had received a 500k donation from DJ Black Coffee.
“Hi guys @Realblackcoffee didn’t give me 500k let’s not mislead people, thanks Bye”
Malinga clarified that he did receive a nice amount of 20k from the Grammy winner.
The African Queen acknowledged the difficulties that artists have been going through since COVID-19 hit the world, saying all of them suffered.
The lineup boasts impressive names like her partner in crime and internationally acclaimed artist Master KG, King Monada and more.
Malinga’s Twitter page had been the busiest since the Podcast and Chill episode aired.
Kabza De Small sent an unreleased Amapiano track called ‘Ngivulele’ to Malinga just to remind him of how good he is as a singer.
