Ntombezinhle Jiyane, our favourite DJ Zinhle and mother to Kairo and Asante, has done it again. DJ Zinhle is the number 1 female DJ in Africa on the top 100 list on the Djane list. Out of 100 female DJ’s, Zinhle was voted number one by the entire continent for the second year in a row. DBN Gogo is second, while Lerato Kganyago, Lady Amar, Sinyorita, Lambo, Miss Pru ( a graduate from DJ Zinhle’s DJing Academy ), Kasi Duchaz, Pierra and Lamiez Holworthy made the top 10. The Top 20 list has Dineo on Decks at number 20. DJ Zinhle was applauded after returning to the stages a month after giving birth to Asante. The South African maternity leave is four months, but Zinhle went to work on the decks just a month after giving birth, and this was an attestation to her dedication.

Djane is a website strictly dedicated to broadcasting news, announcements, celebrations and ranking lists for female DJ’s. The list is global, but categories vary. They have an African list, an American list, an Australian list etc. The website accepts votes from people worldwide, tallies them up, and releases the results to the world.
DJ Zinhle’s 2021
The year 2021 has been blessings on blessings for Dj Zinhle. Firstly her relationship grew, and she was blessed with the adorable angel Asante with her partner Murda Bongz. DJ Zinhle also recently opened another era by Dj Zinhle jewellery physical store in Westville KwaZulu Natal Province. She returned as 1’s and 2’s DJ competition judge. She got nominated for the Best Music Video Award from the 27th annual South African Music Awards for her song Umlilo featuring the vocally gifted Rethabile Khumalo and DJ Mvzzle. Her hit songs are still on rotation, and they’re still getting streamed. Zinhle has also been making waves for her businesses. The star remains the C.E.O of a liquor company.
