While there is no date to when Gugu will start appearing on the Real Housewives of Durban, she has been added to the cast of the show. Gugu will bring a different dynamic to the show. She is a well accomplished woman who has been rarely recognised but has been tugged in the shadow of her husband. The show will reveal the business side to Gugu and the different layers that make her a phenomenal woman.
Gugu also has a rags to riches story that remains untold but that viewers can expect to see on the show. In a conversation with Daily Sun, Gugu said,
“I want to be looked at in another light. It will be my responsibility to show off women who’re able and want to empower others. This is the perfect platform for me, even though I will not be a full-time cast member.”
The Real Housewives of Durban premiered last month on Showmax. The show was set to premier on 1Magic but with last minute changes to scheduling due to the cancelation of Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s reality show, Uthando nodumo the show was moved to Showmax. The Real Housewives of Durban has been a success so far, delivering on the different fronts of expectations.

The show stars Ann-Toni Ludick, Nonkanyiso Conco, Sorisha Naidoo, Kgomotso Ndungane, Nonku Williams and Ayanda Ncwane.
One thing is for sure, Real Housewives of Durban hasn’t failed on the drama front with Nonku Williams dropping a bomb on the late Sfiso Ncwane’s widow, Ayanda Ncwane. Nonku Williams revealed in an episode that one of her children is fathered by Sfiso Ncwane. Apparently, the late gospel singer chose not to let in his wife on the secret but let his family know as they later collaborated the statement and said they had always known. The revelation was met with a tense moment of shock.
Now that we all know that on a scale of 1 to 10 Real Housewives of Durban is an 11 on the drama front, we can only imagine what an addition of Gugu Khathi will bring to the table. The wait for her to grace our screens begins.
