DJ Shimza buys R5 million Lamborghini Urus, Drip CEO Lekau Sehoana confirms purchase
In recent years DJ Shimza born Ashley Raphala has seen himself trending for the wrong reasons, from shutting others out concerning industry to government tenders. He has fast become one of the most controversial DJs in South Africa. However, it seems as if he cares less and pays a deaf ear to the scandal in the mix of things.
No doubt he has the plug and the bling to show for it. Not so long ago, he hogged headlines after he showed off his new whopping R3.6 Million DJ Desk he recently purchased amid the lockdown.
However, what left Mzansi confused was how could he make such a big purchase given the fact the industry was not operating given to lockdowns.
His significant acquisition sparked a debate which led to the beans being spilt about the government privileges he receives. In the backdrop of that scandal, he went on to have Twitter wars with opposition leader Mmusi Maimane over the R15 million stadium scandal.

The celebrated DJ revealed that he works hard for his soft life despite all being said. As of 2022, he has been dupped as one of the most expensive DJs to hire. Of interest is that he has a big trucking company that is booming and is cashing it from it. Despite having one of the most costly fleets one can boast about, it seems as if a new whip set is on its way to South Africa.
However, congratulatory messages started flooding social media after Drip founder let the cat out of the bag.
Taking it to Twitter, he shared a cryptic revealing that he wants to bless himself with an Automobili Lamborghini Urus worth R5 million. Drip founder Lekau Sehoana twitted:
@LekauSehoana
Knowing you, it’s already Paid for and awaiting delivery. Congratulations in Advance brother
Of late, Lekau has been spot on when it comes to delivering the good news of his friends. A few months ago, he dropped a bombshell about Casper Nyovest’s new R4.5 million Mc Laren GT.
