DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small – whose real name is Kabelo Petrus Motha – are the world’s most famous Amapiano duo. They have made South Africa proud with their catchy tunes that have gone viral globally. Some of their hit songs include Nana Thula, Asibe Happy, Abalele, and more.
DJ Maphorisa thanked Kabza De Small for changing many lives
“Papta Day Wish my Brur more blessings. Young Man changed a whole lot of our lives,” DJ Maphorisa wrote. Kabza De Small, who turned 31, has been a mentor and a supporter of many emerging Amapiano artists such as Young Stunna, Da Musiqal Chef, Masterpiece, Spumante, and more, ZA Tunes reported. However, some Amapiano artists have reportedly been accused of being unprofessional and demanding by event organisers who booked them.
Sunday World reported that a music promoter sued Piano Hub artist, Sandile Msimango, also known as Young Stunna, for R1 million after he failed to show up for an event in September 2022. Earlier this year, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small also faced criticism from event promoters who claimed that they had high booking fees, hospitality riders, and professionalism issues.
