DJ Fresh and Dj Euphonik suspended over rape allegations
Prominent DJs Fresh whose birth name is Thato Sikwane and Euphonik whose real name is Themba Nkosi have been suspended from radio over rape allegations levelled against them on social media.
@Namapree took to Twitter with allegations that the had gang-raped her and three friends. The young lady has officially placed rape charges against the music duo.
Gauteng police have confirmed that a formal case has been opened AT Sunnyside in regards with rape and the duo. The lady whose name has been withheld alleges that she attended a chill as with a friend who had been invited by one of the DJs. The lady claims they were drugged alongside 2 other girls. While she is not sure who raped her, she alleges that one or both of them raped her. All this happened in 2011 when she was in the second year at a local University.
Primedia has released a statement stating that both DJs will be stepping down from their roles at 94.7 Highveld Stereo
