The actress we all love to hate did her matric in the small town of Phalaborwa Limpopo. After passing her matric with flying colours, the actress enrolled for tertiary education. Makgofe has been good in science subjects ever since she was a kid, and her parent’s advised their daughter to pursue a degree that has to do with Science subjects.
The actress followed her parents’ advice, and she went to the Univesity of Johannesburg for a Bachelor’s degree in Science. Following her graduation, she started working as a chemistry teacher at the Ethiopian Department of Education.
She worked as a chemistry tutor for more than a decade and later discovered her calling in entertaining. Makgofe then went to AFDA, the school of Arts, to improve her acting skills. She graduated in 2012 with a degree in Arts, marking the beginning of her acting career.
Ever since her debut into the entertainment industry, she has made waves, showing no signs of slowing down. In 2014 she won her first acting gig on Skeem Saam as Charity.
