Hope Mbhele, who is 24 years old, is the definition of a Jack of all trades. The young actress has just been introduced to our TV screens with her role in a Showmax movie called Goodbye Gogo, where she worked alongside Thembi Mtshali Jones before her role on Umkhokha. Still, she is not new to the entertainment industry.
Hope came clean on an Interview with DJ Sbu on The Hustlers corner that she is a Taxi boss. She says that growing up; her mother had a fleet of taxis called Beauty Queen taxis. Growing up, she was very hands-on in her mother’s taxi business, learning how to run the business. Now she owns four of her taxis. When asked how she feels about running the company, she says that her employees don’t underrate her opinion. She has a great relationship with them to the extent that when they feel her idea is wrong, they correct her jokingly.
Hope’s love for radio was seeded into her early in life because her mother was a radio DJ. She has been on the radio for some time now and is climbing ranks on the radio. When asked about how she started on the radio, she says that it was not easy because she first had a squeaky voice, and she even stuttered a lot on her first show on the radio; now she hosts two shows called Breakfast Gang gans and Sunday Chill Zone.

Apart from all these hustles, she started her own hair business. She says that she always had trouble maintaining her natural hair, and she relaxed it until she was 18. After that, she googled ways to maintain her hair and started mixing he own oils and using them. People in her community started complimenting her hair, asking what she used. She then started mixing the same oils, and she would sell them. That’s how she started her hair care business selling hair products for natural hair.
Hope has also started her magazine called Youff magazine. She hopes her magazine will grow and be sold all over Africa.
