He revealed that Margaret Motsage, one of the Idols SA’s backing vocalists, is one of the founding members of Joyous Celebration.

Margaret has many years of experience in the music industry and has been a phenomenal gospel powerhouse. Margaret joined Idols SA in 2005 as a vocal coach and backup vocalist; she is among the long-serving employees on Idols SA, beating the long-serving judge Somizi who joined the show in 2015.
Having also been a founding member of Joyous Celebration, Magaret revealed that being in the spotlight was not easy, but she has also learned a lot. During her interview with drum magazine, she said:
I haven’t been a member of Joyous Celebration for quite a while now. It was a tremendous journey as one of the founding members and I learnt a lot. I can always create music again in the future on my own too. I recently started vocal coaching on a full-time basis, which is a passion of mine. I love seeing singers transform and come into their own by refining and honing their skills.
The news that Magaret is the founding member of Joyous Celebration proved that she is a humble person who traded her integrity and joined Idols SA to coach upcoming stars.
Joyous Celebration was founded in 1994 following the success of South Africa’s first democratic elections. The gospel music group has a cabinet of awards as a testament to its outstanding and committed members who give their best in driving the group.
