eNCA has lost employees to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this month the channel announced it had lost Michael Wilson to COVID-19.
Wilson was part of the channel’s graphics team and he joined the eTV brand almost two decades ago. eNCA expressed its condolences to Wilson’s family and friends.
Wilson was the channel’s second employee to succumb to COVID-19.
In May, eMedia Investments lost one of its camera operators Lungile Tom, who worked at eNCA at the company’s Cape Town office.
Tom was admitted to hospital on May 10, with COVID-19 related symptoms.
He was tested and admitted to intensive care. Lungile’s test results confirmed that he had COVID-19, and he passed away in hospital on Wednesday, May 13 in the morning.
