Where is Costa Titch originally from?
Costa Titch was born and bred in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. Not much is known about his family or early childhood except that performing was his childhood dream. After matric, he moved to Johannesburg to pursue his dancing career.
Dancing Career
Costa Titch became serious with dancing at the age of 15 together with his best friend Benny Chill. After moving to Johannesburg, he was recruited by Tumi Tladi and Phantom Steeze into the New Age Steez dance crew. Several years later they went international with their biggest highlight being number 14 in the world Hip hop dance competition. Over the years, Costa had been sharpening his rap skills and when he found his sound, he moved into music.
When did Costa Titch get a breakthrough?
The year 2017 was the breakthrough year for Costa Titch with the song, ‘Activate’. His trap skills and catchy phrases caught Mzansi music fans unaware. Costa followed up with the much loved Mandoza rendition of ‘Nkalakhata’. Music lovers instantly certified Costa Titch, a talented rapper.
