Cornet Mamabolo, who played Tbose on the SABC1 soapie, is excited to open his new resort in Limpopo on Friday December 15.
Mabodibane Resort is located at Maripathekong in Ga-Molepo and promises nature and adventure to its guests. The actor told Sunday World this week: “The resort is a peaceful getaway surrounded by the natural beauty and cultural richness of the area. It is set in the stunning landscapes of Limpopo and offers a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.”
Mabodibane Resort will be ready for the holidaymakers who are travelling to the province for the festive season. Mamabolo said he had a dream of owning his own resort since he was young. He said: “The dream and vision are old, but I have been working on it physically for almost two years now.”
The actor said the resort does not mean he has given up on acting.
He said he has been living in both Limpopo and Gauteng for work and business. Mamabolo also has business interests in the finance sector.
Outdoor fun and relaxation The resort offers services such as a farmers market and various activities. These include paintballing, quad biking, hiking, camping and other outdoor games and relaxation.
The launch flier has some brief info about the resort. Mabodibane Resort will open at 10am on December 15 and close at 7pm. The 16th and 17th are reserved for a two-day family picnic, with the same operating hours as the 15th.
The entrance fee is R20 per person before 2pm, and R50 after.
The flier also says that alcohol in bottles is not allowed, only cans are permitted.
