Dineo Ranaka is a famous face in the Mzansi entertainment industry. She works as a Metro FM radio personality. Dineo broke into the industry very bravely. When she narrates the story, she says she looked up to her older sister Manaka Ranaka who plays Lucy on Generations The Legacy. At the time, Manaka was acting on a SABC 2 sitcom called Stokvela.
When her sister was on TV, Dineo worked as a call centre agent. Dineo says she was working, as usual, one day and decided to quit. Immediately after leaving her job, she went to the YFM studios. She auditioned to be a radio personality, and she got the job.

Dineo Ranaka became a club DJ in the most recent years. She doesn’t charge to perform a set for less than R70 k. She DJ’s in the upmarket club scene where they can afford to pay her that sum. Some of the clubs she has performed in are Konka in Soweto and The Hang Out in Thembisa, owned by DJ Shimza.
Radio Presenting
Dineo is a Metro FM presenter for the midweek show called The Bridge. Earlier this year, she was suspended from the radio station after partaking in the Umlando challenge on top of office furniture. She made her way back to the station doing what she loves and enjoys.
Event hosting
One of the things Dineo has done over the years is event hosting for significant events and corporate functions. She has stayed consistent in the craft, and she keeps broadening her horizons in the field with her magnetic energy.
Luvdrbeauty
A year ago, the media personality ventured into the beauty industry. She created a vegan makeup brand called Luvdrbeauty. Luvdr is just Love Dineo Ranaka shortened.
Mzali Wam E.P
After being a club DJ playing other people’s music, she decided to make her songs. She fell in love with the tribal sound and released an E.P titled Mzali Wam.
