Confirmed, The Wife actor ‘Langa’ Linda Majola bids farewell to the show.
Linda Majola debuted his acting career with a role in The Wife as Langa. He was an unexpected breath of fresh air that viewers loved and adored. He embodies his character as Langa, but he is loved because he is himself on and off the screen. However, with the second season of the show ending, fans get to bid farewell to the actor on the show.
Langa is the twin brother to Hlomu on The Wife, and he is the protective brother every girl hopes for. The show also showed his journey as he came out to his father, who disapproved. On top of that, he also had to deal with his new brothers in law, who seemed homophobic at first but accepted him later. Langa had his sister’s back through everything through the show’s drama. However, he also took advantage of the Zulu brothers’ wealth and constantly asked for financial aid.
Majola, the actor behind the character, is a professional chef with a food truck. When the COVID pandemic hit the world, he was forced to close shop and stay at home with the rest of the world. Finding himself bored and with nothing to do, Linda started making funny Tik Tok videos and posting them. He would imitate people and create funny content, and his videos went viral till The Wife producers came across him. They asked him to audition for the role of Langa, and the rest was history.
