Ever since the death of Vho-Mukondeleli, Vhafuwi has been caught between life and death himself.
He kept dreaming of a coffin he was stuck in for weeks before Kondi’s death.
Everyone thought he was getting messages beyond the grave, earning him about Royal’s death.
Azwindini was still wrapped up in the Gugu, Nomasonto debacle at the time and missed significant clues that he was the one the ancestors wanted, so when he was summoned to Zwifhoni, he decided to reject the call.

He takes it with Vhangani, but Vhangani falls off a cliff.
Vhafuwi helps him, but he wakes up caught in Zwifhoni, a sacred forest. Azwindini finds himself stripped naked and cold in this place, with an unknown man watching over him.
Vhangani makes his way back to the Royals without the Chief, and they lose it and decide to go to Mulimisi for answers.
What he sees shocks him to the core
James is still not accepting what is going on with him. Lesedi is out of control, and James’s dreams continue to intrude; we find out that he is a product of rape.
Meanwhile, he and Tenda are in warmth with each other at work.
The love bug bites Vhutshilo. Zama has invited him out.
Susan forges ahead with her campaign as the Councilor of Thate with the help of Rendani.

The King is dead
Azwindini’s fate was decided, and he went to the land of the dead. All the horseback riders and Kingsmen couldn’t save the Chief from his fate.
Let’s face it, Azwindini had been inviting this to himself for a long time. Treating Susan like dirt, not listening to his own family about Gugu, the death of Vho-Mukondeleli, Vhutshilo getting blamed for it etc.
It’s going to be an exciting few days. Azwindini dreamt of his father Mashudu warning him that this was coming, but he chose not to take heed of the warning.
