“Chencha dai deng” Mzansi Patiently Awaits For Katlego Maboe Return
No doubt the Mzansi’s finest when it comes to commercial advertising is heading back to our screens. South African celebrated media personality Katlego Maboe may be having his much-awaited return after his petition gained Mnzansi’s support.
Katlego Maboe may be given another chance to “chencha dai deng” judging by the overwhelming support he is receiving from fans across the country. The “Bring Back Katlego Maboe” petition has since received 74 600 signatures and still counting.
The petition which is about to bring back Maboe to our screens was launched by Lindy KaMahlobo in October, a few days after his cheating scandal.
“Chencha dai deng” Mzansi Patiently Awaits For Katlego Maboe Return
The entertainment industry can be an unforgiving place, and the slightest mistake can ruin one’s reputation and decades’ worth of work. The famous Katlego Maboe might have plotted his own downfall after his viral cheating scandal video went viral.
The celebrated Tv presenter made headlines for himself when his estranged wife made his cheating confession video viral.
Monique Muller blamed Maboe for infecting her with an STD, while Maboe admitted to having had an affair with Nikita Murray. Maboe was dropped by the “Expresso Morning Show” and “Outsurance” in the wake of the scandal.
However, the petition seems to be giving the much-needed career rebirth for Katlego. The petition reads:
“KATLEGO MABOE is he not allowed to have a “personal life? I am not condoning his behaviour of cheating on his partner but this young man is human after all and I feel this woman took their internal bedroom or home affairs to the outside world of which it doesn’t concern us and it doesn’t concern his work as well.
“If Outsurance doesn’t bring Katlego back this petition will be signed by South Africans to boycott Outsurance until you bring the poor guy back on our screens again.”
Outsurance has seen widespread backlash and a sharp decline in customer engagement of late. This decline in numbers and boycott from established clients might force them to bring back the ace.
