Celebrating 28 years of Thembi Seete
From music, to gracing the small screen to owning the business world, Thembi Seete does it all. What other superheroes do we need when there are likes of her who juggle multiple careers and motherhood and still slaying while at it? As she celebrates 28 years in the entertainment industry, let’s look back at her glory days.
The 44 year old actress starts off in a music group called Boom Shaka in 1993 and steals the limelight. In 2000, the group splits up, catapulting Thembi‘s solo career to which she drops the hit Free. This sees her trying her magic in acting. Her debut role is on the show Yizo Yizo and the rest is history. Another opportunity lands on her lap and she stars on Gazlam and Zone 14 shortly after.

Proving her knack for the arts, Thembi tries other facets of the entertainment industry. This sees her bagging a gig as a presenter for the dance show Jika Ma Jika. 2012 sees the actress joining the Clash of The Choirs in 2012 as one of the choirmasters.
Her dexterities see her landing roles on Rhythm City, The Queen and the recent Mzansi Magic’s Gomora. Thembi continues to wow us on Mzansi’s latest show on Netflix, Kings of Joburg. The Jack of all trades and master of all is also a fitness instructor, radio host, motivational speaker and a businesswoman.
The actress has gone to all lengths to fit in the beauty bracket until she turns her ideas into business and co-founds Azuri beauty bar. The mother of one continues to serve inspiration and as she has already made it in the industry for 28 years, we hope to see more magic oozing from her unmatched dexterities.
