Requirements for the roles being casted by Ferguson Films
- A male aged 40 who speaks any language for a physical, high action role.
- A male aged 18-21 who speaks Setswana for a charming, witty but troubled role.
- A female aged 21-30 who speaks Zulu- strong, confident, sexy and intelligent yet calculating.
- A female aged 18-21 who speaks Setswana, swert, demure and reserved
The Fergusons have been called out for recycling actors across their programs. As such their publishing the new leads comes as a response to “open up the industry” and so gives hope to many young and upcoming talents.
In the same light various soapies have come on board in response to the call for soapies to use new faces in their projects other than using the same old, same old. On the forefront is SABC2’s Muvhango that had cast a number of new faces that include, Tebogo Thobejane, Kamo Letsosa and Bontle Mampa.
The producer has made Muvhango’s position on new actors and actresses very clear. He said, “2021 will also mark the debut of a number of fresh faced newbies hoping to carve a niche for themselves in the industry.
