Casting News: Actor Siyabonga Radebe’ Vika Magwaza’ dumps Uzalo, to join The Wife cast as Mqhele Zulu.
South African actor Siyabonga Radebe leaves Uzalo, where he played the role of Vikizitha Vika Magwaza. Barely after six months of playing the role of Vika Magwaza, is Siyabonga Radebe already looking for greener pastures and a more challenging environment?
He joined the current season of Uzalo to play the role of a charming but lethal criminal, Vikizitha Magwaza. The Vika character is a ruthless and reckless criminal who arrived in KwaMashu to grab a chunk of Nkunzi’s territory. A car high jacking expert who leaves dead bodies and massive destruction behind, Vikizitha killed and critically injured police officers on his arrival. Often flagged and guided by Bab’ Nsimbi to ensure he doesn’t make radical and reckless decisions, Vika is a man full of himself and frequently trades in dangerous paths.
Vika is part of the dangerous Magwaza family lead by Njinji Magwaza (role played by Thembi Nyandeni). His continuous clash with Nkunzi, aka KwaMashu landlord, has brought unnecessary trouble for the Magwaza clan.
Siyabonga Radebe dumps the Uzalo cast, and according to close sources, he has a gig lined up.

Siyabonga Radebe is tipped to join The Wife cast as Mqhele Zulu after Bonko Khoza announced that he is leaving the Showmax drama series.
After playing the Mqhele Zulu role in The Wife for two seasons, fans favourite and Mzansi national husband Bonko Khoza announced his departure from the series. The Wife producers Stained Glass TV announced that they are recasting for the vacant Mqhele role, and due to his dangerous looks and aura, Siyabonga Rabede has been tipped to fill the role.
Over the years, Mzansi has witnessed actors moving from cast to cast when the same production house produces shows. The movement of actors from Durban Gen to Uzalo has been on the rise, and The Wife will not be an exemption since they are all produced by Stained Glass TV.
