Entrepreneur, philanthropist and reality TV star Shauwn Mkhize hosted a lavish and glamorous Thanksgiving event last night. Her event was themed on African royalty, and it looked top tier. Of course, the guests followed the theme, and the guest list was full of A-listers. Here are some of the things that happened during the event.
MaMkhize’s grand entrance at thanksgiving
MaMkhize chose to arrive at the venue with a unique and immaculate style. She came to the venue in a camel directed by guards. She sat on the camel’s back, wearing a gorgeous white ensemble with pearl and feather detailing. People would’ve expected her to arrive in a fancy car or a horse, but she took it to the theme of royal Egyptians. As we know, Egypt had the earliest dynasty globally, and camels were used as popular transport in that part of the world.
Shauwn Mkhize’s outfit
After her grand entrance, the people were impressed with her outfit. Drums were playing, and there were ululations in the venue again to add that touch of African royalty. When the event was about to start, she changed her outfit officially. She switched to a gorgeous African print dress with elaborate shoulder and trail detailing. Her hairstyle also changed to a beautiful African ponytail. Praise poet Jessica Mbangeni escorted her in with a royal fit poem.
Guests at the event
Some of the most prominent present people are the entrepreneur Kenny Kunene. Actres, socialite and media personality Tarina Patel were also there. Influencer Kefilwe Mabote and the actress Thembi Seete were also guests at the event. Of course, her son Andile and his wife were also there. Close family friend Shaun Stylist and his girlfriend Anele also attended the event.
Best dressed people
Some of the best-dressed people at the event were Shauwn herself in all her outfits. Tamia Mpisane looked like a goddess in her dress and headpiece. Entrepreneur Kenny Kunene followed the theme so much that he looked like African Royalty.
Performances galore
Dj Oskido was one of the performers at the event. Shauwn joined him on stage when he played the song Prayer For Rain by Black Motion. Legendary singer and performer Ringo Madlingozi also serenaded the crowd. Andile also performed, and Kenny Kunene said his performance was lit.
