Bushiri and Makandiwa’s spiritual son was arrested for fake covid-19 prophecy in South Africa. The preacher who calls himself Prophet Shane has been arrested for spreading fake prophesies which South Africa classifies as fake news about the deadly coronavirus pandemic after going live on social media. The South African police have confirmed that they are currently holding Shane for spreading fake news against the rules and regulations of the South Africa national lockdown.
Shane went on social media to speak about the current lockdown happening in South Africa. The Thohoyandou based cleric said:
Lockdown, you can lockdown as much as you want. Because of flue, you sit home. we can lockdown for the rest of thee year or for 5 years. Its coming, this thing is there. You are not going to stop it. This thing is there. It is a waste of time.We sit at home we do nothing. They don’t even believe in prayer, even your president doesn’t believe in prayer. I never heard him mentioning prayer. he mention prayer only once. He doesn’t consult big men of God who know their story. Because of flue we lock down. How many people are dying of hunger. They are lying to you. Who is getting money from the government, which spaza shops. They are lying to you these people. This thing is there but why don’t we go outside as Prophet Makandiwa said so that we get used to it. They say they are finding people with coronavirus, but what about those who do not have it. There will be only one person left who will spread it again.
The preacher calls himself the ‘spiritual son’ of preacher and self proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Emmanuel Makandiwa. Bushiri is based in South Africa whereas Makandiwa is based in Zimbabwe.
Makandiwa’s position on covid-19
Makandiwa said covid-19 started in China through an unidentified animal carrier that was consumed by humans. He has also linked covid-19 to the development of the 5G network and he has vehemently warned the government of Zimbabwe that he will refuse to be vaccinated against covid-19.
Bushiri’s position on covid-19
Bushiri called covid-19 a ‘demon’ that came on earth to target certain individuals and will disappear after destroying them.
