Bushiri boldly blames the South African government for Israella’s death
In the wake of his daughter’s death Israella, controversial Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has boldly blamed the South African government for his daughter’s death.
The 8-year-old daughter of self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, Mary, died in a hospital in Kenya. Bushiri broke the news of her daughter’s death through a press statement that was shared on social media.
However, the prophet later did a general public address at 12.00 hrs (CAT) which was aired on all official social media platforms as well as Prophetic Channel. Seems as if the self-proclaimed prophet has used his daughter’s death to attack the South African government.
In one of his statements, Bushiri indicated that his daughter became a victim of their persecutions.
“My daughter became a victim of all the persecutions we have been going through in South Africa.”
Bushiri’s daughter was suffering from a severe lung infection. Recently Bushiri daughter was barred from exiting Malawi for better medical treatment in Nairobi Kenya only to be granted permission after a long legal battle. However, Bushiri indicated that it was so painful to hear that she would have survived if she had better medical attention earlier.
“When I spoke to the doctor, he highlighted that if she had not been blocked at the airport the first time she needed to travel to Kenya for medical assistance, she wouldn’t have passed on. We wish we could have reversed this. But we believe if its Gods time, there is nothing much we can do but to accept,”he said.
Bushiri boldly blames the South African government for Israella’s death
According to official reports, Bushiri’s 8-year-old daughter Israella died in the early hours of Monday. She has been hospitalised for three weeks.
Late last week Bushiri indicated that her daughter was transferred to the ICU section as her situation worsened. According to Bushiri, her daughter couldn’t breathe on her own. Bushiri declared the next coming three days as the time to celebrate Israella’s life.
“Today, my wife and I choose not to mourn but to celebrate her life. I do not believe that the devil could take the life of my daughter,” he said.
He also had this to say.
Family, join me, not in mourning as those without hope but in celebrating the life of Saint Israella. She shall always be remembered and forever carried in our hearts.1 Thessalonians 4:13, “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.”
However, he pleaded with all Enlightened Christian Gathering members to remember them in prayers.
