Bulawayo’s famous money changer brutally assaults lover after finding her with ex-husband
Henry “Harare” an illegal money changer from Bulawayo brutally assaulted his lover. He found his girlfriend with her ex-husband at her home and Henry went berserk. Sources say the money changer destroyed property in his lover’s house after beating her.
Henry went to visit his lover Memory Mahohoma at her house and found her in the company of her ex-husband Elliot Mukaro. After seeing such, the money changer got very angry and started accusing Memory of all sorts of things.
“It was a dramatic event. Henry grabbed Memory by the throat while accusing her of cheating. Blanketed with anger he then slaps her and calls her names. Henry even goes to threaten Elliot and tries to destroy his car. In fear of his life Elliot flees the place,” an eye witness confirms.
Other sources also claim that Henry hit Memory so hard and tore her clothes. Like it is not enough Henry leaves Memory bleeding and starts to destroy the property in the house. He smashes the television, windows and all other fragile things in the house.

Reporting to Zimbabwe Voice, Memory said Elliot had only visited to give their son a cake for his birthday.
“Henry did not even attempt to ask but rushed to conclusion and got angry. He hit me with open hands, insulted me and threatened to smash my ex-husband’s car. Henry also goes on to destroy my windows, television and other important things,” she says.
Memory reported the case to the Police. She later withdrew her statement after agreeing with Henry that he will replace all the damaged goods. After the incident Henry sends his fellow change money friends he works with at Chicken inn opposite Tredgold to apologize on his behalf.
This is not the first time Memory has been in the media for wrong reasons. In 2018 she was was caught cheating and this led to her divorce with Elliot. She has become quit a popular figure in Bulawayo for such behavior.
