Radio personality Bujy Bikwa’s world is crumbling in front of him as the day goes by. He may have to pay a considerable sum of money for the wrong decisions he made last weekend.
According to reports, Bujy has been asked to pay R1 million for injuring Boity at Courtyard Hotel last week.
Bujy, known for his deejaying role at Metro FM, received a letter of demand from Boity’s lawyers. In the letter, Boity calculated her medical costs and other costs related to staying in the hospital and treating the injury.
Bujy is yet to respond to the letter of demand.
Both Boity and Bujy were among the guests hosted by Huawei at the launch of the new smartphone, the Nova8, at a Midrand Hotel. While Huawei cancelled the launch event due to heavy rains in Johannesburg, the tech giant hosted a dinner for celebrities. The cellphone maker booked rooms at the Courtyard Hotel for the media personalities to sleep during the night as they couldn’t travel after the curfew.
Boity, a traditional healer by profession, talked authoritatively about spiritual issues while drinking and chatting with fellow celebrities.

According to witnesses, Boity bothered several guests with her traditional healing practices. The entitled Boity got into arguments with several celebs as her interactions were not welcome. One of the celebs was Bujy, who made it clear that he did not want his spiritual life discussed a the event.
Boity insulted Bujy’s grandparents and suggested Bujy would never succeed in his career.
‘Nobody knows you,’ Boity could be heard showing at Bujy.
Bujy vowed he would be known for b bashing Boity, according to the recordings.
The Zimbabwean born radio personality caused injuries on Boity’s face during a brawl. Blood was visible on Boity’s face from a picture widely shared on social media, and her white shirt was soaked with blood.
Bujy was detained during the weekend at Midrand Police station. He was released on R2,000 bail after appearing at Midrand Magistrate Court.
