Bucie was born on the 10^th of March in 1987. She was born in Kimberly and raised in Khuma. Bucie was a typical girl who sang in her church choir. She attended her local high school. And she was quite avid in her participation in arts programs. This was the start of her path down the musical road.

Bucie attended a local high school in Khuma. After that, in 2007she enrolled at the Central Johannesburg College. This would prove to be her big break as she was spotted by her music lecturer, Thandukwazi Sikhosana. He recruited her to his newly formed label, Demor music where she would start her career.

Career

Her local hit song Ngicelindoda was written, produced and released by Thandukwazi aka Demor. He also orchestrated her collaboration with Black Coffee on the hit song ‘Turn me on‘.  The song was released and licensed under a German label, Gogo Music. The song’s remix by renowned producer Ralf Gum became number 1 on Traxsource.

Her work relationship with Black Coffee continued throughout her career. They collaborated again to produce the smash hit Superman in 2009. Superman was a chart topper and earned the duo nominations across the board. From the SAMAs to MTV base to the Metro and even the 2011 Winter Music Conference Awards in Miami, the song was a world hit.
