Zahara is now broke and homeless as Netbank auctions the townhouse mansion after failing to settle the million-rand loan. It never rains but pours for Zahara, who is said to be homeless after Nedbank issued a statement that it will be putting her townhouse for auction.
Nedbank is said to have already processed the papers to reposes Zahara’s townhouse in Roodepoort, West of Johanessburg, after she failed to pay R1.9 million.
The bank has it that the house might be auctioned on May 7 if Zahara fails to settle the amount. Rumour mill has it that the bank settled for eviction and even compelled the 17-time award-winner to settle the loan instalment or risk losing her townhouse mansion.
The issue dates years back, but it seems she showed ignorance when she had all the riches; now, she is broke and struggling to settle the amount.

However, Zahara has it that her financial woes have been worsened by TS Records, who swingled her royalties from her two studio albums that reached double platinum. Years later, she insists that she was conned and never got paid for the hit albums that thrust her into the limelight.
