Breaking: Temba Mliswa freed on ZWL20 000 bail
Temba Mliswa has been freed on ZWL20 000 bail. On top of that he has been barred from holding press conferences. Harare magistrate Vongai Muchuchuti granted Temba the bail after the Non-Prosecution Agreement did not oppose bail.
The Norton Member of Parliament was arrested yesterday at his house for convening a prohibited gathering under COVID-19 regulations. Riot yesterday stormed at his home during press conference. Temba Mliswa alleges that he has been targeted by the State Security Minister Owen Ncube. The presser was held as Temba desperately tried to clear his name after his ex lover had spilled all the beans to the media including his gay behavior.
During the press conference he slams journalism ethics in Zimbabwe and demands evidence regarding the homosexual allegations. He mentions how he has written to the CIO Headquarters so that investigations are done regarding the whole issue. The Norton MP claims that Susan Mutami is a project aimed at bringing him down. “It’s disrespectful that someone drops the President’s name in trivial matters,” Temba says.

Mliswa goes on to laugh off the claims that the twins are his as Susan had put doubts in his head a long time ago. “How do you know the twins are yours,” she says. The general public however is not amused as they think all this is diverting the citizens from real pressing issues.
Likewise, the public is not pleased with the news as they are more concerned about Allan Moyo who is in prison. Some write saying,
“This was all drama to divert us.”
“This smells fishy to me for some reason. No one took him seriously anyway.”
This was a show and people fell for it. Temba sleeps one day in prison and gets bail but Hopewell spent weeks.”
