The President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa has extended the lockdown with a further two weeks.
He says he did not take the decision lightly but has been left with no choice but to extend it.
South Africa is facing an increase in the number of covid-19 cases. Currently there are 1,845 and 18 deaths. Only 45 people have recovered
