South Africa now has 1380 confirmed cases of Covid-19 infections and six deaths as a result of the coronavirus. This is an increase of 27 new cases and one new death from Tuesday’s figures as announced by Health Minister Zweli Mkhize.
Minister Zwleli Mkhize said more than 47 000 tests had been undertaken which is ‘too few’ given the size of the South African population of more than 56.72 million.
